- Round 4, Dooley’s. Drinks and convo. #
- Two more jobs, then hopefully Dave & Buster’s, then a meeting. Can’t wait for round 2 of the three. #
I’m having issues with my iPhone. Power issues. To the point where, come 5 o clock, after an eight hour charge and minimal use, the iPhone is sputtering with lack of life and needs a charge. I chalked it up to running apps on my phone, and playing games (minimally).
I’ve had the iPhone since February, 6 months, and didn’t start having problems until 2.0 was launched. Well, now we’re up to 2.0.2, and the issues remain. The only major feature introduced besides Apps was Push.
I have my 2 GMail accounts and my work’s Exchange service set to push. I’ve been trying to figure out if Push is the ‘drainer’ and I think I can say ‘Yes.’ I’ve even narrowed it down to it trying to sync with my Exchange server. My work Exchange is constantly updating with emails and schedule tasks, but it didn’t initially affect my battery life until mid-August.
The only thing that has changed on my exchange server since mid-August is my password, as I am required to change it every 90 days and did so in mid-August. If you don’t change the password in the iPhone, it just queries and queries and queries, never prompting you to correct the password. I have reset my iPhone, updated it, and have not been asked to change/fix the password with my Exchange server. I know that I have been receiving email as my work mobile updates, but my iPhone is off in querying oblivion, continuously cycling and draining my battery.
I didn’t figure this until I realized I had stopped receiving information on my iPhone from the Exchange server and checked. I received the last email on the 14th and that is when my battery issues started. I’ve turned off syncing with Exchange. Hopefully, that fixes the problem. I could change the password in the iPhone, but want to run a test over the next few days to see if that was the issue.
- 44 West from 270 is screwed. Tradfoc backed up for 11.5 miles. Ugh. #
Each time we’ve spoke
We’ve put in our token
And ridden the tilt-a-whirl
And I was giggling and dizzy
Flirting like a 12 year old girl
The carnival of you and me is coming to town
Watch how we spin and spin
And then fall down
Now we just say hello
And head for firmer ground
It’s made of bacon! And it can hover!
I just spent the last 5 minutes watching this over and over.
The baby in the background cracks me up.

I got a little crazy and created a Toto station in Pandora and I think this is the best it gets.
Mr. Mister, Journey, 38 Special, Van Halen, Styx, Phil Collins, Starship, Huey Lewis and the News, Tears for Fears, REO Speedwagon, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Heart, Kansas…
This is a playlist from Fenton Bar heaven.
Create a Toto station in Pandora, I dare you.
