I finally got around to making my first Bento. It took longer than I had planned, because I had nothing prepped. If I had had the rice made in advance, it would have cut the time to about 15 minutes.
-Lid with napkin and black licorice.
-Two sweet onigiri with chopped raisin as the face; almonds & raisins; one clementine.
-Grilled chicken and dipping sauce; steamed carrots and broccoli.
I’m pretty pleased with the way it turned out. It will be interesting to see if this lunch survives the weather tomorrow. If it doesn’t, I will have to get some kind of insulated bag to keep it cool.
