John Mayer is on Kanye West’s newest album, Graduation. It’s a great mesh. Here’s a pretty spectacular YouTube video of the two of them together. It’s Le Best.
I don’t know if you got a man or not
If you made plans or not
If God put me in your plans or not
I’m trippin’, this drink got me sayin’ alot
But I know that God put you in front of me
So how the hell could you front on me
There’s a thousand yous
And only one of me’s
I’m trippin’, I’m caught up in the moment right?
This could be the best… by far.
This morning I got an email stating that the iPod Touch was released today and that I could pick one up at an Apple Retailer. So, I called my closest Apple store and was surprised to get ahold of someone an hour and a half before store opening.
They’re holding a 16 GB Touch for me.
So, I am trying to wake the girl and drag her out with me.
Consider me stoked…
Today is the Apple keynote, which kicks off in about 25 minutes. With the recent death of my 40GB iPod I am looking forward to the release of a new flash based iPod. It should be pretty exciting.
The sprout is going to grandma’s in about 15 minutes, but I swear that these two events are in no way related.
Here’s a great reminder why you should love Apple. Check out Bill Gates’s embarrassing Win98 BSOD video.
Update: Holy crap. New iPod Classics and new Nanos (with new GUIs), new Shuffles, and the unveiling of the iPod Touch. It’s exactly like the iPhone but without the phone portion. It even has WiFi! I am partial to the Touch, but think I might get a Nano. Also, Apple dropped the price of the iPhone from $599 to $399. All of the early-adopters are at various sites screaming for rebates and crying. This is AWESOME.
In other news, not tech related, my brother and his wife welcomed another baby really early on Monday morning. Her name is Bridget Kelley. I’ve not met her yet, but I hear she’s terribly cute.
Also, I leave for FL in 22 days. I am really looking forward to getting out of STL again. I hope when I get back in October it is a little bit more windy and fall-like. You’d be surprised what a week can do to the weather.
