My “Links” post

Things I’ve currently got going on:

Just finished Anita Liberty‘s most recent release, “How To Stay Bitter Through The Happiest Times Of Your Life.” I must admit, it was quite a good read. I’ll have a mini review later.

I’ve been listening to the Gnarls Barkley album, titled St. Elsewhere. Gnarls Barkley consists of Cee-Lo, originally from Goodie Mob, and DJ Dangermouse, who famously presented The Grey Album. Listening to St. Elsewhere makes me want to listen to old school Ceee-Lo stuff, and so I’ve also been listening to his solo album titled Cee-Lo Green And His Perfect Imperfections.

On the video game front, I am currently playing Lost in Blue for the Nintendo DS. It’s a good game, but it does have a major flaw, which is the tedious nature of travel within the game. It did get good reviews, though. I am waiting for Sudoku Gridmaster to be released. It’s fun on paper, fun on my phone, so playing it on the DS should be cool too.

On the comic front, I am currently reading ULTRA: Seven Days, by the Luna Brothers, the creators of the series Girls. It’s good, but I like Girls better.

Work. Work, work, and more work.

The girl and I have seen two movies in the past week or so, including X-Men: The Last Stand, and The Da Vinci Code, which spawned a pretty interesting conversation.

I finally checked out the Nintendo Wii site today. It looks pretty cool, although I am still pretty nervous about the controller. I watched the video that they have on the site, and the only two games that I am even interested in, Metroid Prime 3, and the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, look freaking awesome.
